Arthur Hendrix

Arthur Hendrix (born October 7, 1913, in Birmingham, Alabama and a longtime resident of Lakeland, Florida) was an important American amateur tennis player in the 1930s. Hendrix, who was ranked No. 10 in the United States in 1936,[1] was the singles finalist at the Cincinnati Masters in 1934.

In 1936, he won the singles and doubles titles at the Tennessee Valley Invitational,[2] and was a semifinalist in both singles and doubles in the Southern championships.[3]

Hendrix reached the quarter-finals of the 1940 U.S. Pro Tennis Championship.
